The short version: COPYZ stores your data on your own device and (only if you turn on Pro) in your own Google Sheet. We do not collect, see, sell, or transmit your data to our servers.
1. What COPYZ stores
COPYZ is a browser extension that helps you copy shipping addresses from Amazon Seller Central and paste them into other websites. The data it handles includes customer names, shipping addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and product/order information that you choose to copy.
2. Where your data is stored
Locally on your device — using your browser's built-in storage. This is the primary store and never leaves your computer.
Chrome Sync (optional) — if you are signed into Chrome, a limited backup may sync across your own devices via Google's infrastructure. This is controlled by your Google account, not by us.
Your own Google Sheet (Pro only) — if you connect Google Sheets, data is written to a spreadsheet in your Google Drive, which only you control.
We do not operate a server that receives your data. COPYZ has no backend database that collects customer information. The developer cannot see the addresses, phone numbers, or any customer data you handle with the extension.
3. Google account access (Pro feature)
If you enable the Pro Google Sheets feature, COPYZ requests permission to: (a) create and edit only the specific spreadsheet it makes for you (drive.file scope), and (b) read and write to your Google Sheets (spreadsheets scope). COPYZ uses this access solely to save your copied addresses to your spreadsheet. It does not access, read, or modify any other files in your Google Drive. You can revoke this access at any time in your Google Account settings.
4. What we do NOT do
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
We do not use your data for advertising.
We do not transmit customer data to the developer or any third party.
We do not track your browsing activity.
5. Payment data
Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy / Stripe). COPYZ never sees or stores your card details. We only receive a license key status (active/inactive) to unlock paid features.
6. Your responsibility
Because COPYZ handles personal information belonging to your customers, you are the data controller for that information. You are responsible for complying with all applicable privacy and data-protection laws (including GDPR, CCPA, and others) regarding how you collect, store, and use your customers' data.
